Announcing New MTSS Data Academy for SpringMath
Naperville, IL (May 14, 2024)
Dr. Sarah Brown, President of System Impact Consulting, announced today that she is offering an MTSS Data Academy to support users of SpringMath, an evidence-based MTSS math platform developed by Dr. Amanda VanDerHeyden and published by Sourcewell. The academy, a year-long professional learning and coaching service for educators and leaders, harnesses the science of system change to drive math growth in schools and districtwide.
Dr. Brown selected SpringMath due to its alignment with the Science of Math and implementation science, and its more than a decade of strong research evidence to support its efficacy as a math MTSS solution for schools. SpringMath uses screening and progress monitoring data to provide classwide, small-group, and individual intervention. According to Dr. Brown, “In short, if you want to raise math achievement, we believe high-quality implementation of SpringMath is your best bet.” The academy’s content is being developed in collaboration with SpringMath author, Dr. Amanda VanDerHeyden.
The academy includes 30 hours of professional learning comprised of:
Regular sessions for team facilitators to use SpringMath data to inform instruction and educator support
Science of Math workshops to learn more about evidence-based math instruction
Ongoing support through an included Learning Management System (LMS) with resources and recorded sessions that continue learning and support throughout the year
Monthly drop-in data coaching to help you work even smarter
The MTSS Data Academy for SpringMath launches for the 2024-25 school year, with immediate registration and openings for interested schools. For more information about pricing and to learn more, contact System Impact Consulting or book a time directly with Dr. Brown.
